The game has a scripted map changing system that prevents the server from playing the same map over and over again after a certain amount of time elapses. The game also has a random drop system, which can randomly drop scrap metal or weapons there is no crafting system for making scrap metal yet, and as such, only a system to make a random weapon or hat is present in the game. This is (one of) the only TF2 game on ROBLOX with an actual weapon system. The game also has scripted functions for actions in gameplay that are present in Team Fortress 2, such as a backstab, in which the player can instantly kill a player by attacking from behind with the Knife and its other variants, which are used by the Spy, rocket jumping, in which the Soldier, another in-game class, can propel himself by jumping and shooting down at the ground using the Rocket Launcher, stickybomb jumping, in which the Demoman, yet another in-game class, can propel himself using the Stickybomb Launcher in a similar manner, and sentry, dispenser and teleporters, which are buildings that can be build by the Engineer, which is an in-game class. This place contains items and hats that are present and similar in design to the actual Team Fortress 2, such as the Dead Ringer, which is an item that can be used by the in-game class called the Spy, in which the player can 'feign death' with the item activated by taking damage from an enemy, which can leave out the corpse of the player and possibly trick the opponent of the death of the player, while the player becomes cloaked for approximately 8 seconds. To this day, the game is broken due to changes in the Roblox engine and a lack of actual updates to the game. However, the December update removed these abilities and unlocked all the remaining unlockable items in the game, because the creator, SnakeWorl, had lost the privileges of Builders Club on Roblox. Prior to a December update that is applied to the game, the place had a total of 8 VIP classic T-shirts, with the purpose of awarding its respective Badges along with the value of in-game funds provided with the T-shirts. Team Fortress 2 will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 towards the end of the year as part of the The Orange Box – includes Half-Life 2, Episode 1 & 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.FPS Team Fortress 2 is a Roblox recreation of Valve Corporation's Team Fortress 2 (known commonly as TF2). One of the advantages of TF2, relative to something like Counter-Strike, is that it’s not so much about aim,” said Walker. “ … we have all the tweaks we did to the controls, the sticks and everything. Valve’s Robin Walker also revealed that there should be no control issues with the Xbox 360 version as the game is being handled by the same staffers that worked on HL2 for the Xbox. There’s zero chance of them talking to 360s.“ “ Chances are the PS3 version will only play other PS3s. They’re going to be using a piece of code that EA uses for its PS3 multiplayer stuff,” Lombardi explained. “ The PS3 version is being done by EA over in the UK, and they don’t have all the networking stuff in yet to do anything other than it’s rending and running the games and whatnot, but they’re still dropping in the network layers. It looks highly unlikely that cross-platform will be possible for PlayStation 3 players though. “ Technically it’s done,” said Lombardi, although it’s not 100% definite that cross-platform play will be included in the final game. Doug Lombardi of Valve has told IGN that PC and Xbox 360 gamers could well be playing against each other when Team Fortress 2 is released for both platforms later this year.
